Delivery driver turns a South City sidewalk into a detour
A driver delivering Amazon packages was filmed rolling a full-size delivery van onto a sidewalk and through front yards along Neosho Street after another vehicle blocked the road.
A blocked street explains why the driver needed another route. It does not make a sidewalk full of blind spots a safe road.
What the video shows
The clip shows the blue delivery van moving along a residential sidewalk and across grassy front-yard areas before reaching the street. First Alert 4 says the incident happened Tuesday on Neosho Street, just west of Kingshighway, while the driver was delivering Amazon packages.
The news outlet reports that another vehicle was blocking the road. The shared clip does not show anyone being struck, and the post did not include a police statement, a citation or a response from Amazon.

Delivery drivers work under heavy route pressure, tight schedules and constant tracking. A blocked street can put a driver in a bad spot. But a van on a sidewalk creates a different risk: pedestrians, children, pets, steps, railings and property can appear with almost no room to react.
That is why the real question is not whether the driver was inconvenienced. It is whether finishing the route was worth using a space built for people as an improvised lane.
